India’s diesel exports climbed to about 620,000 barrels per day in September, their highest level in a year, as strong refining margins encouraged producers to maximise output and overseas sales. Europe received around 280,000 barrels per day—nearly half of India’s total and an 80% increase from August—as refinery disruptions tightened regional supply. Africa took about 200,000 barrels per day, while shipments to Asia and the Americas were smaller. No diesel shipments went to Russia during September, commodity analytics firm Kpler reported.
