Corrections Policy
How to tell us we got something wrong, and what happens next.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Our commitment
Banx Network corrects factual errors promptly and visibly. We do not quietly edit published articles to remove mistakes. Where a correction is made, the article records that it was corrected.
2. How to report an error
Email operations@banxnetwork.com with the article's URL, the specific passage you believe is wrong, and — where you can — a source supporting the correct version. Requests can also be sent by post to Banx Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design - FZCO, Aspin Commercial Tower, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Anyone may request a correction. You do not need to be the subject of the article, and you do not need an account.
3. What happens next
We acknowledge correction requests within 48 hours. An editor who was not the original reviewer of the article assesses the request against the sources cited, and where necessary contacts the contributor.
One of four outcomes follows:
- Correction. A material fact was wrong. We fix it and append a dated correction notice to the article explaining what was changed.
- Clarification. The article was accurate but open to being misread. We reword it and append a dated note.
- Update. The article was accurate when published and events have moved on. We add the new information with a dated update note; the original text stands.
- No change. We were unable to substantiate the claimed error. We reply explaining why.
4. How corrections appear
Corrections, clarifications and updates are published on the article itself, carrying the date and a plain description of what changed. Headlines that are themselves corrected note the change in the same way.
We do not remove the corrected article or its URL. The record of the correction stays on the page.
5. Retraction and removal
Where an article's central claim is unsupportable, we retract it. A retracted article keeps its URL and displays a retraction notice in place of the original text, explaining why it was withdrawn.
We remove articles entirely only where publication would be unlawful, where it presents a genuine risk to someone's safety, or where we are legally required to. Removal is approved by Editor-in-Chief and the reason is recorded internally.
6. Contributor accountability
Corrections are recorded against the contributor who filed the article and are reflected in their credibility record. Repeated factual failures, and any instance of fabrication or plagiarism, result in removal from the contributor programme.
