Code of Ethics
Binding on every contributor, editor and member of staff at Banx Network.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Accuracy comes first
We publish what we can support. Where we are uncertain, we say so in the article rather than resolving the uncertainty in favour of a better story. Speed never justifies publishing a claim we have not checked.
Fabrication of any kind — invented quotes, invented sources, invented events — results in immediate and permanent removal from the platform.
2. Independence from the token
Banx Network rewards contributors in BXE tokens. This creates an obvious question about independence, and we answer it directly.
- Rewards are paid for publishing work that meets our editorial standards. They are never conditioned on the conclusions an article reaches.
- No reward is increased, reduced or withheld because an article is favourable or unfavourable to BXE, to the XRP Ledger, or to Banx Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design - FZCO.
- Contributors reporting on BXE, on Banx Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design - FZCO, or on assets they personally hold must disclose that interest in the article.
- Holding BXE does not confer any influence over what we publish. Token holders have no editorial rights of any kind.
3. Independence from advertisers and sponsors
Advertisers and sponsors have no advance sight of editorial content and no influence over it. Commercial relationships are never a reason to publish, alter, or suppress an article.
Sponsored content, paid partnerships and press releases are labelled as such and are visually distinct from journalism. They are not counted as editorial work and do not earn contributor rewards.
4. Conflicts of interest
Contributors must disclose any financial holding, employment, directorship, family relationship or other interest that a reader could reasonably regard as affecting their reporting on a subject. Disclosure is made to the editorial team at submission and, where it is material to the article, on the article itself.
Where a conflict cannot be adequately managed by disclosure, the contributor does not cover the subject.
5. Fairness to the people we report on
Where an article makes a significant allegation against a person or organisation, we seek their comment before publication and reflect their response, or record that they declined or did not reply.
We take particular care with private individuals, with people who are grieving, and with people who are not accustomed to dealing with the press. We weigh the public interest against intrusion, and we do not treat something being newsworthy as the same thing as it being in the public interest.
6. Sources and confidentiality
We honour undertakings of confidentiality given to sources. Where anonymity is granted, the article explains why the source cannot be named and what basis they have for knowing what they claim.
We do not obtain material through deception, impersonation, or unauthorised access to systems or accounts.
7. Images and attribution
Images must be correctly licensed and accurately captioned. Photographs are not manipulated in ways that alter the facts they depict. Illustrative, archive and AI-generated imagery is labelled so that no reader can mistake it for documentary photography of the event described.
8. Financial content is not financial advice
Banx Network reports on cryptocurrency, markets and financial technology. Nothing we publish is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Contributors do not use the platform to promote holdings, and articles written to move the price of an asset are removed.
9. Accountability
We take responsibility for what we publish, correct it when it is wrong, and explain ourselves when asked. Concerns about a breach of this code can be raised at partners@banxnetwork.com and are reviewed by Editor-in-Chief.
