President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine’s FP-9 ballistic missile could be ready this autumn, with its manufacturer claiming a range sufficient to reach Moscow. He made the announcement after urging Fire Point, the company developing the weapon, to accelerate production. The statement follows Ukraine’s reported first combat use of the shorter-range FP-7 missile, which can travel about 250 kilometers. Zelenskyy also discussed shortages of ammunition for Ukrainian fighter jets and efforts to expand electronic warfare and air-defense capabilities over coming months.
