Russian attacks across Ukraine overnight on October 6–7 killed 11 people and injured more than 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. He described the strikes as among the most vile attacks and noted they coincided with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s birthday. In Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, a missile hit a five-storey apartment building, killing five people and injuring 26, including children, according to Zelenskyy’s initial update. Other casualties were reported in Kyiv, Kremenchuk and Oleksandriia. Rescue crews searched damaged sites as attacks also targeted energy infrastructure
