Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has arrived in Serbia for his first visit to the Balkan country. The trip is expected to center on expanding economic cooperation, discussing both countries’ paths toward European Union membership, and raising security concerns. Zelenskiy is set to meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and other officials. The visit could strain Serbia’s relations with Russia, its long-time ally, because Serbia has refused to sanction Russia while balancing ties with Moscow and the EU.
