South Korea launched its Nuri rocket on its fifth mission from the Naro Space Center in Goheung. The 200-ton vehicle carried 15 satellites: five NEONSAT microsatellites and 10 CubeSats. The NEONSAT spacecraft are designed to monitor the Korean Peninsula and nearby areas, supporting national security and disaster response. Each carries an optical camera capable of identifying objects about one meter across in black-and-white images. The launch advances South Korea’s plan to build a 10-satellite observation constellation, with the remaining five satellites expected on Nuri’s next flight
