The agreement is designed to strengthen supply-chain resilience and support India’s ambitions to become a major semiconductor hub. Nexperia brings chip technology and manufacturing expertise, while Tata offers local investment and production capacity. The partnership could help diversify global sourcing as governments and companies reduce dependence on China-linked semiconductor networks in the future.
