Nammo to Expand Rocket Motor Production With €50 Million in EU and Norwegian Support

Nammo will establish a fourth solid rocket motor production line at its Raufoss facility in Norway, backed by approximately €50 million in public funding. The European Commission awarded €25 million to the ROCMAN project through its defence industry programme, with Norway matching the amount. The expansion aims to raise output and shorten lead times for motors used in missile systems and artillery ammunition. The project also includes site security upgrades and improvements to access to raw materials and components regionally.
