Matt Damon and David Letterman made a brief cameo in the Season 4 premiere of HBO’s The Gilded Age on November 1. The pair appeared as 19th-century gentlemen crossing a New York street, roughly eight minutes into the episode. Neither had dialogue, and they did not return in later scenes. Letterman has long enjoyed appearing as a background actor, while Damon is due to appear on Letterman’s Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. The scene lasted only seconds.
