Latvia’s armed forces reported an airspace intrusion Sunday near the country’s borders with Belarus and Russia. Residents in the affected area were told to stay indoors and avoid approaching low-flying or suspicious objects. About 30 minutes after the alert, the military said the unidentified object had left Latvian airspace and the threat had ended. Officials did not identify the object or say where it came from. The incident comes amid reports of Ukrainian drones straying into airspace across the region.
