The IDF has declared the Gaza periphery a closed military zone ahead of a pro-settlement demonstration planned for Sunday. The order, effective from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday, restricts access to the border area around routes and junctions spanning from Yad Mordechai to Shaar Hanegev and toward Kerem Shalom. Authorities say the closure is meant to prevent marchers from attempting to enter Gaza illegally.
