German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a support package worth more than €1.3 billion during Merz’s Kyiv visit. About €1 billion will fund air defense, long-range weapons, combat drones, and satellite communications, while €350 million will help repair Ukraine’s energy grid before winter.
