Bennett Says Qatar Is a More Dangerous Enemy to Israel Than Iran Right Now

Former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett said Qatar is “more dangerous” to Israel at present than Iran, arguing that Iran’s threat is well known, while Qatar operates in ways he views as more harmful “from within.” In an interview, Bennett pointed to Qatar funding groups he linked to the October 7 attacks, its role in running Al Jazeera, and alleged influence in U.S. universities and Israeli politics, even claiming it has access to Israel’s prime minister’s office.
