Belgian, Swedish and Estonian Supermarkets Report Suspected Freezer Hacks

Supermarkets in Belgium, Sweden and Estonia reported refrigeration problems on Monday, weeks after a similar attack affected stores in France. Retailers said fridges and freezers in a number of locations experienced sudden temperature increases. Belgian chains Ahold Delhaize and Colruyt reported incidents, while Swedish grocers ICA and Coop said some stores were affected. Estonia’s Kitman Coldtech also reported an incident at an unnamed supermarket chain. Authorities have not identified who was responsible or established a connection to the earlier French attack. Investigations are ongoing.
