Walmart, Trader Joe’s Frozen Berries Added to Expanded Recall Due to E. coli

An expanded recall covers Great Value berry products sold at Walmart and Trader Joe’s because of E. coli O145 contamination. The items include Walmart’s Organic Triple Berry Blend and Organic Blueberries, plus Trader Joe’s Organic Mixed Berry Blend. Products were distributed across 30 states and Puerto Rico, while the Trader Joe’s lot reached 26 states. Consumers should not eat the products and should discard them or return them for a refund. The outbreak sickened 17 people and hospitalized six.
