Ukrainian Arms Manufacturer Fire Point Claims to Have Overcome Starlink Restrictions for Long-Range Strikes

Ukrainian defense company Fire Point says it has developed a way to carry out long-range strikes without relying on Starlink satellite communications, CEO Iryna Terekh told Reuters. She said the company’s systems are designed to complete missions without a satellite link, but declined to explain how its approach works. Terekh estimated it delivers only 15–20% of the capability available with Starlink operating over Russia. Her remarks follow service restrictions that disrupted Ukrainian drone operations. The claim has not been independently verified.
