Ukraine resumed strikes on Russian oil refineries after pausing attacks to give a proposed energy ceasefire a chance. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia had continued targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, while Kyiv faced growing tensions with Washington over intelligence sharing and Starlink access. “The block [on energy infrastructure attacks] is out. We’re done,” he told the Financial Times. A fire was reported at a refinery in Russia’s Ryazan region after the renewed attacks. Moscow accused Ukraine of violating the truce and said the strikes undermined US-led peace efforts.
