The shortlist reportedly includes Britain, Italy, Switzerland, and Indonesia, alongside other partners under consideration. The countries emerged from US-mediated talks in Rome last week. A Lebanese official told Reuters that Washington would ultimately decide which states from the list would join the verification effort.
