Two people have been rescued alive from a hydropower tunnel in Nepal after spending nine days trapped underground following devastating flash floods. Rescue crews reached the pair through mud and debris during a difficult operation involving engineers, emergency workers, and heavy machinery. The survivors were reportedly weak but conscious and received medical attention. The disaster caused extensive damage to hydropower facilities and surrounding communities, with many people killed or missing.
