Turkey is providing Saudi Arabia with technical and defensive military support as Riyadh responds to attacks by Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis, officials said. Assistance reportedly includes drone operators, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, equipment and logistical support. Ankara has also agreed to join a Saudi-led effort to protect Red Sea navigation. The moves follow an August defense agreement involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, which the countries are beginning to implement. A Turkish official said no broader deployment had taken place, and the alliance pact awaits parliamentary ratification
