Support for PM’s Party Falls to Five-Year Low in Finland

Support for Finland’s ruling National Coalition Party (NCP), led by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, has fallen to its lowest level in more than five years, according to a voter sentiment poll by Helsingin Sanomat. The NCP now has 16.7% support, down from earlier months and its weakest showing since April 2021. The opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) leads with 23.8%. The Finns Party is at 14.2%, followed closely by the Centre Party at 13.7%. The poll questioned over 3,500 people
