More than 100 stores across several European countries reported refrigeration problems after attackers allegedly forced cooling systems into defrost mode. Retailers and suppliers reported incidents in Belgium, Estonia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Sweden, with additional problems noted elsewhere. The affected equipment includes controllers and management systems from Danfoss, Copeland and Dixell. Many systems were older or accessible online, prompting warnings to disconnect exposed equipment and use secure remote access. Investigators have not identified the perpetrators or established whether this latest wave is linked to earlier attacks in France.
