Russia Hits Odesa With 11 Missiles and Up to 100 Drones in Massive Attack

Ukraine reported a major overnight strike on Odesa and surrounding areas involving 11 missiles—most on ballistic trajectories—along with up to 100 UAVs, including jet-powered drones and “Banderol” loitering munitions. By about 8:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses reportedly downed 72% of the drones, five of six Banderol munitions, and one missile; three missiles failed to reach targets after countermeasures. Impacts were recorded at nine locations, injuring 12 people and damaging residential buildings and parts of local energy infrastructure.
