Russia Forcibly Removes 25 Civilians, Including Children, from Occupied Kharkiv Oblast

Russian forces have forcibly removed 25 civilians, including children, from occupied territory in Kharkiv Oblast to an unknown destination, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets said. He said relatives do not know the group’s whereabouts or the conditions in which they are being held. Lubinets described the removal as coercive, disputing Russia’s characterization of it as an evacuation. He also warned of a Telegram bot allegedly collecting personal information under the pretext of arranging evacuations. He appealed to Russian and international officials for information and assistance.
