La Food and Drug Administration des États-Unis a accordé à Revolution Medicines la permission de commencer un programme d'accès élargi pour le daraxonrasib, un traitement expérimental pour l'adénocarcinome canalaire pancréatique métastatique précédemment traité. L'agence a émis sa lettre "sûr de procéder" seulement deux jours après avoir reçu la demande de l'entreprise. Dans un essai de phase 3, les patients recevant le médicament une fois par jour avaient une survie globale médiane de 13,2 mois, contre 6,7 mois pour ceux recevant une chimiothérapie. Le daraxonrasib n'est pas encore entièrement approuvé par la FDA, et l'accès nécessite une demande du médecin d'un patient éligible.
