Poland Becomes the World’s Second Apache Operator, Plans Europe’s Largest Maintenance Center

Poland is set to become the world’s second-largest operator of the AH-64E Apache after purchasing nearly a hundred helicopters. As part of the acquisition and offset arrangements, Boeing is partnering with Polish aerospace firms (including WZL-1 and WCBKT) to build what officials describe as Europe’s largest Apache maintenance and sustainment center. The facility is intended to support major maintenance, repair and overhaul, plus component work, starting with Poland’s fleet and later expanding to other European Apache operators.
