Poland has asked the United States to detain and extradite former justice minister Zbigniew Ziobro over multiple criminal charges. Polish prosecutors say Ziobro is accused of offenses including leading an organized criminal group, abuse of office, and misappropriation of public funds. The request will be assessed under the Poland–US extradition treaty before any court review
