Patriot Production in Ukraine to Take Years, Zelensky Says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says building the ability to produce Patriot missiles inside Ukraine will take years. He linked the timeline to ongoing efforts to obtain the necessary licenses and move the program from political agreement into implementation. Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is working toward technical capability by late 2026, but the country still faces a major shortfall in interceptors as Russia continues frequent large-scale missile attacks.
