Akron, Ohio officials have fired an officer who shot and killed a 15-year-old boy, and they also reached a settlement with the teen’s family. The city agreed to pay $4.75 million, pending judge approval. Police said Jazmir Tucker was carrying a loaded weapon when he was shot in November 2024.
