Norwegian teenager Johannes Kongsnes Natland was sentenced Friday to 20 years in detention after a court found him guilty of agreeing to carry out a contract killing in Britain. The 19-year-old was recruited online while gaming and offered 25,000 euros for the killing. He flew to Huddersfield in March 2025 and was arrested in a hotel with guns and ammunition. Police intervened before anyone was injured, and his target has never been identified. His 17-year-old recruiter was convicted in Norway.
