Night of Terror in Ukraine: Russian Strikes Hit Kremenchuk Industrial Site After Deadly Attack Leaves 3 Dead, Dozens Injured

KREMENCHUK, Ukraine — Russian forces launched a series of high-precision strikes targeting an industrial enterprise in Ukraine's central Kremenchuk district early Friday, October 30, 2026 escalating an overnight offensive that has left civilian infrastructure severely damaged and regional emergency services on high alert.

The early-morning air raid came just hours after a separate, devastating strike in the region claimed the lives of three civilians and injured 32 others, including six children, marking one of the most intense bombardments in the Poltava oblast in recent weeks.

According to regional military administrators, the strike on the Kremenchuk district targeted a major industrial facility, triggering large-scale fires and damaging manufacturing equipment. Emergency crews and specialized firefighter units rushed to the scene to extinguish the blazes and prevent chemical or fuel hazards from spreading to nearby residential zones.

While emergency workers continue to clear rubble and assess structural integrity across the site, initial assessments indicate significant physical destruction to storage facilities and operational units.

The industrial attack followed a night of widespread aerial bombardment across central and eastern regions. Hours earlier, incoming Russian missiles and drone swarms hit residential blocks and public areas, resulting in severe casualties among local residents.

Local health officials confirmed three civilian deaths at the site of the earlier strike, while 32 people were injured, including six children who received urgent medical care for shrapnel wounds and blast injuries. Multiple victims remain hospitalized, with several reported in critical condition as regional surgical teams work around the clock.

"First responders worked tirelessly through the night to pull survivors from the debris. The targeting of civilian hubs and critical industrial sites continues to inflict immense suffering on our communities," stated a representative from the regional military administration.

Ukrainian air defense units reported intercepting multiple incoming drones and missiles over the region during the overnight assault. However, several projectiles penetrated defense lines, striking industrial and municipal targets.

Local authorities have urged residents throughout the Kremenchuk district to adhere strictly to air raid alerts, warning that additional waves of aerial strikes remain a persistent threat as conflict intensifies along key infrastructure lines.
