President Donald Trump said Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested “in any way, shape, or form” while in the United States after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he was still considering the move. Mamdani previously suggested police could arrest Netanyahu if he entered New York. The comments follow a 2024 International Criminal Court warrant for alleged war crimes during the Gaza war, which Israel rejects. Trump’s post also credited Israel for helping in the Iran war.
