Netanyahu says Israel working to overthrow Iran’s regime

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had created the conditions for the eventual fall of Iran’s regime after its campaign against Tehran. He cited damage to Iran’s leadership, missile industry, navy, air force, military factories and infrastructure. Netanyahu said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had suffered enormous economic losses and might struggle to recover. However, he acknowledged that regime change ultimately depends on Iranians themselves. Iran’s government survived the conflict, despite protests and a deadly crackdown earlier this year.
