Musk’s Starlink bows to Polish pressure over roaming rules

Starlink has adjusted its approach to satellite “Roam” service after Poland’s government objected to Poland being excluded from the European roaming zone. Polish officials said travelling users would face higher costs and accused the company of treating Poles worse than other Europeans. The dispute quickly became political, with Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski publicly pressing Elon Musk to restore equal terms. Starlink’s criteria for roaming coverage were left unclear publicly.
