Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said 613 Ukrainian drones were launched toward the capital overnight on October 28–29, with 231 reportedly intercepted as they approached the city. Russia’s air-transport agency imposed restrictions at Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky airports, disrupting flights and forcing two planes from Istanbul to turn back. Restrictions were later lifted at Zhukovsky, while limits remained at Vnukovo and Domodedovo. Authorities reported no casualties or damage, though emergency crews were working at crash sites. The Kyiv Independent said it could not independently verify Sobyanin’s account.
