Massive Attack were investigated after reports they expressed pro-Palestinian sentiments during a performance in Singapore. The band’s two members allegedly held up a Palestinian flag and shouted “free Palestine” on Wednesday, with some audience members joining in. Singapore police later banned the band from future entry and issued “stern warnings,” citing potential offences under relevant national-emblem and public-order laws. Media regulators also said they would not approve future performance applications. The band’s next show is scheduled in Seoul.
