A 28-year-old man, Joshua Kerry from Rotherham, has been charged with the murder of former UK MP Ann Widdecombe. Police said Kerry will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Widdecombe, 78, was found dead at her home in Haytor, Devon, after sustaining serious injuries. Counter-terrorism police said investigating motivation—including any potential political motive—remains active. Authorities also said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, with inquiries covering more than 800 lines.
