Kosovo PM Kurti Egged in Parliament Amid Political Crisis

Kosovo’s parliament was suspended after an opposition MP threw eggs at caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti during a tense session. The lawmaker, Time Kadrijaj of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), shouted “Shame on you!” before throwing several eggs at Kurti, prompting an uproar and intervention by security. Kurti responded calmly, saying he was willing to “pay this price” for dialogue. The incident unfolded as Kurti’s government struggled to secure enough support to elect a new president, after multiple elections and prolonged political deadlock.
