Japan pledged that it will continue to stand with Ukraine as Russia’s aggression continues, a senior official said during talks in Kyiv. The pledge included maintaining Japan’s approach to sanctions against Russia in coordination with the international community. During the meeting, Japanese officials emphasized that attempts to change the status quo by force cannot be tolerated and said Japan’s solidarity with Ukraine remains unwavering. Ukraine’s foreign minister thanked Japan for its consistent support.
