Israel: Netanyahu’s Ex-Chief of Staff Says He Blocked Staff From Signing “Loyalty Pledge” to Netanyahu Family

Israel’s former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu chief of staff Yoav Horowitz says he blocked a demand that all staff at the Prime Minister’s Office sign a pledge of loyalty to the Netanyahu family. In interviews, Horowitz claimed Netanyahu and his wife Sara function without separation and that the family closely influenced policy and security decisions. He said he was told the “loyalty” demand came from “the house” and that Netanyahu supported it, but Horowitz refused to implement it.
