Interlochen Sexual Abuse Report Released; 47 Individuals Accused of Misconduct

Interlochen Center for the Arts released findings of an investigation into historical sexual misconduct involving its Academy and Camp. Hired after a 2024 report of an incident from decades prior, an outside firm interviewed about 180 people about alleged abuse spanning the 1950s through 2010s. The report says 47 individuals associated with Interlochen are accused. Seventeen are deceased, and none are employed today. Investigators also received roughly 70 firsthand reports describing grooming, touching, and sexual relationships.
