Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will visit Moscow on August 23–24 for talks focused on bilateral trade, investment, science, technology, and economic cooperation. During the visit, he will co-chair the 27th session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. Jaishankar is also scheduled to meet Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to exchange views on regional and global developments. The visit comes as India and Russia seek to strengthen economic ties and expand cooperation beyond traditional defense and energy partnerships.
