Finnish authorities temporarily restricted ship traffic in Helsinki after police found an unidentified, funnel-shaped metal object in the sea south of Kustaanmiekka. The police requested assistance from the Finnish Defence Forces to identify the object and began an operation around the site. The closure delayed a Viking Line ferry traveling to Tallinn by nearly two hours. Officials have not said whether the object poses a danger, and the investigation remains underway while maritime traffic is managed cautiously in the area
