Hate Crime Charges Filed in Manhattan Synagogue Attack

A man was arrested and charged with multiple hate crimes after disrupting Shabbat services at Central Synagogue in Manhattan, NYPD said. Authorities allege he damaged synagogue property and assaulted a congregation member and a security guard while officers escorted him out of the building. A woman was injured, according to police.
