German police arrest two over suspected sabotage attack on defence firm

German police arrested a 28-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both Bulgarian, on suspicion of setting fire to a construction site at Rohde & Schwarz’s headquarters in Munich. The defence company makes radar and security equipment. Authorities say incendiary devices were thrown and caused a fire, but no one was injured and damage was not significant. The arrests came amid concern about suspected sabotage in Germany, including recent attempts to disrupt the power grid. Investigators have not confirmed foreign involvement.
