Fiery Russian Attack on Bucha Warehouses Leaves Three Wounded Near Kyiv

BUCHA DISTRICT, UKRAINE — Russian forces launched a series of drone and aerial strikes targeting critical commercial logistics facilities across the Kyiv region, setting multiple warehouse complexes ablaze and injuring three people. Emergency services and local officials confirmed that rescue operations were immediately dispatched as blazes raged across the industrial zone.

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the attack delivered direct hits on commercial storage infrastructure situated within the Bucha district. High-explosive impacts ignited mass blazes across several storage buildings, sending plumes of dense black smoke visible across surrounding communities.

"In the Bucha district, the enemy attacked warehouse facilities," stated Tymur Tkachenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. "Three people sustained injuries as a direct result of the strike. One victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition, while the other two received medical treatment at the scene".

First responders from Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) converged on the site to extinguish the flames and perform search-and-rescue operations. Emergency crews worked into the night to contain the fire before it could breach adjacent facilities.

Beyond the warehouse complex, falling debris and blast waves damaged nearby residential property in the district. Emergency teams launched a search-and-rescue sweep through collapsed structures after reports indicated a woman might remain trapped beneath the heavy masonry.

"Rescuers are actively searching through the rubble where a civilian is suspected to be buried. Search efforts will continue non-stop until the site is cleared."— State Emergency Service Representative

The attack on Bucha's commercial district forms part of a broader pattern of deliberate strikes against Ukrainian civilian supply lines and logistical nodes. By targeting storage infrastructure rather than military positions, the aerial campaign places acute pressure on local transport hubs and consumer supply networks serving the capital region.

Air defense units operating around Kyiv successfully intercepted multiple incoming drones during the wave, preventing further strikes across central municipal districts. However, local authorities advise residents to remain vigilant and head to shelters immediately whenever air raid sirens sound.
