Cornell’s Jane Doe is ‘terrified’ after police swarmed her home in a swatting incident, her lawyer says

Jane Doe was at her parents’ home Tuesday when police responded to a false active-shooter report, her lawyer Thomas Giuffra said. Officers pointed guns at her boyfriend, brother and father, according to Giuffra. He said Doe was terrified and had received multiple threats in recent days. The incident is described as swatting, a hoax emergency call intended to trigger a forceful police response. No injuries were reported. She alleges fraternity members sexually assaulted her in October 2024 at Cornell University.
