British Man Fined €3,000 for Causing Two-Year-Old Son’s Death in Cyprus

A Cyprus court fined British father Joshua Foster €3,000 after he pleaded guilty to causing his two-year-old son’s death. The boy fell from a fourth-floor hotel window on July 12 during a family holiday. Foster, 37, said he thought the window was closed when he placed the child on the sill. The judge imposed a fine without prison after finding no intent to harm him. Foster can return to the UK to grieve with his family.
