British Leader Exchanged Messages With Impostor Posing as Top White House Official

BBC reports that UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham exchanged messages with a person posing as Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff. Downing Street declined to comment on the security breach, first reported by Politico. Politico said officials communicated with the impostor before growing suspicious and that only a few messages were sent. Sources told the BBC there was no conversation and that the texts were quickly reported to authorities once deemed illegitimate.
